Message from the cupboard under the stairs…..

Afternoon all!

Just got back from my trip up to the Edinburgh festival and then Seven Stories in Newcastle.  All three events that I did were really good fun and I’d just like to say a big thanks to everyone who was involved with organising them.

On another note, as some of you may have already found out, copies of Dreadnought have started to appear in the wild.  Some have shipped a bit early from Amazon and there are even some in bookshops around the UK.  So if you do pick up a copy drop me a line or post on the forum and let me know what you thought!

And finally, the more observant browsers of Amazon may have noticed we’ve settled on a title for book five.  It’s going to be called “Rogue”.  Hope you like it…..

Dreadnought is amazing, thank-you so much for writing it! I sent you an e-mail (alana_l_grady@hotmail.com) and i was wondering if you got it?

  7. Fishy says:

Just read it - GOD that is brilliant and I love the way you started and I didn’t have a clue Lucy’s special gift.

I think that cliffhanger you left on the last page was absolutely perfect, setting up the next book

  8. Jflame says:

I just bought all four books and am starting Dreadnought now.
I’m loving this series, its so fast paced and gripping.
I like Shelby’s quips when she’s nervous, very whitty.
    Great job, thanks.

I was hoping rumors of cliffhangers were untrue but I guess there not <.< I can’t wait to get dreadnought off of ebay or amazon and the summary for Rouge is already up on amazon if u didn’t know… hmm somehow got leaked…

  11. kelliej95 says:

i dont know if u could really call it a cliffhanger but there is an ending

  12. poor Americans…
@ Ashley: you should know that they’re still calling it Storm Front in Australia as well…I don’t know what to think. :s It might just be another name…but…

See, this is the kind of thing that really bugs me…book 4 is out, everyone is excited about it or either already read it, however, I can’t find the book anywhere and (confession time), I’ve never ordered online before and never planned on needing to…now I’m reconsidering that. I think I might actually order book 4 from Amazon or something…I really want to read it :(
Fo crying out loud, I also just realised that people in other countries, no wait, continents!!!! are ordering them…and I live in the UK, where I thought they would be out earlier if at all…and yet here I am, empty-handed :(
NO! I refuse to surrender, persistence has got the better of me…I’m going to find that book…
Hmm..I’m quite a chatterbox. This needs to stop. Anyway, I’ll see you writing in other comments soon. :)
    Olli x
